At last ,a wonderful sunny day.
Thank you, Sun :)

Hallo :)
Capes and dresses are almost complete now .
The first hat prototype is on the design desk;it is fantastic when I can start from an idea and then invent a new pattern to make my idea real.
A wonderful challange;it is a summary of art, tecnique, geometry, study of the fabric according with wishes and results. After making a drawing, in italian called 'bozzetto', I start looking for the right geometry for the pattern and the fabric and then transfer the drawing to the basic pattern and then I sew the first garment using a white cotton fabric to understand all the little imperfections of the pattern. So the prototype is born; but then, of course, I change it again and again until the final result is next to my first drawing.
You can aske me :don't the basic patterns work ?
Of course they work perfectly but the central point I am focusing is;
ORIGINALITY
Sometimes outfits ask me to be sewed out from the fabric ......yes, I love Michelangelo, even if I can not compare me to him, of course.
This doesn't mean, of course, that I never use basic patterns too,but just when they are perfect and match in the right and precise way the wished results for the first drawing and used fabric.
Anyway, why have I to use a pattern that can be found on internet quite easily, use it over and over making always the same dresses changing just the fabric, selling them at high prices?
I am not that type of person; I respect other people's work , I have seen many clothes made this way , they are wonderful but I am able enough to make original patterns by myself and, most of all, the creation work makes me happy
So I will go on this way :)
I hope to be always so happy and in love with a great sense of work :)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh
At last I have got time to sew :)....at five o clock in the morning !!!!!!
Anyway I have improved an a-line pattern I have already used so that the sleeve fits perfectly now and the dress is a little bit shorter and more like the mini dresses of the Mod era like the ones I have seen on Twiggy.WONDERFUL ,I like them they are very dynamic and feminine at the same time.
The a-line dress is a very versatile dress; geometric and easy to take care.
Yesterday I have received a fabric that could be very good for the S.Valentine dresses and I am going to use it for the two commissions,as promised.
But just a dress could be not enough, after all we are in the winter ,it is cold and so I will add a cape or a coat to make the outfit more glamorous and mod according with the dress .I have alredy sewn a cape with a geometric design ,and it matches perfectly with this dress so I think it is OK.
So I can start sewing the definitive dresses after the 'prototypes' built to study the projects.
Anyway the research centre at Mon Zu is going to go on after the dressand cape set , and that is the part I like the best; new exciting challanges to make real the ideas I have got!!!!
